Charles Leroy
Payne, age 73, of Glasgow
Born May 7, 1943 in
Lamb, he was a son of the late Carl and Lottie Belle Williams Payne.
He was a self
employed Mechanic and a Christian.
Survivors include
one son, Charlie (Heather) Payne, Glasgow; his partner of 25 years, Jessie
Mattax; one sister, Brenda (Richard) Pook, Glasgow; two brothers; Dale (Ann)
Payne, Glasgow and Roger (Dorothy) Payne, Glasgow; six grandchildren, Evan, Austin, Candler,
Chance, Ridge, and Kristen; the children of his partner, Redonna (Chris)
Isenberg, and Misty (Josh) Burton; and their grandchildren Mahalia, Ethan,
Zach, and Amber.
A memorial services
will be held at a later date, as cremation was chosen.
McMurtrey Funeral Home is assisting the
family.
In leiu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society..
