Martha Rowena Hill Hood, age 88 of Edmonton
died April 29, 2015 at the Metcalfe County Health Care in Edmonton .
Born October 10, 1926 in Edmonton , she was a daughter of the late Hugh
Thomas and Ann Lisa Stephens Hill.
She is survived by her caregiver Charlotte (Tim) Sparks as well as special
friends Maxie and Gracie Harper, Joetta Bishop and Belinda Turner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by
her husband Mitchell Hood, one brother Carlos Hill, one infant brother and one
infant sister.
Funeral services will be Friday May 1, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at
the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Maxie Harper officiating. Burial will
follow in the Union #2 cemetery. Visitation
will begin Friday May 1, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home and continue
until the funeral time of 2:00.
